Consumer Directed Services (CDS) enable seniors and people with disabilities to stay independently in their homes. They can select their own caregivers including family members and friends. The Division of Senior and Disability Services (DSDS) are designed to support eligible individuals.
Eligibility:
- Persons aged 18 and up.
- Adults with disabilities between the ages of 18 and 59.

By leveraging these resources, seniors and people with disabilities can experience enhanced well-being and prolonged independent living. Family members can get paid to take care of their love ones under the Medicaid program.
